Just Another Day

Badger and Billy with Two Decades small copyThe book business wasn’t especially exciting today.

There were four sales, which is just fine. I worked on Perception some. The only really fun news was that Erin, my editor, finished with her edits on Secret Doors: The Challenge.

I’m really excited about my new series, mostly because there are guinea pigs involved. One of them, Billy, even talks. As many of you know, I follow quite a few piggies on FB and Twitter. It is fun to think about marketing this book.

I’m going to try to get some of my piggy friends to read the book and leave reviews. It would be really cool to be able to attribute any future success to the Cavy community. It would be the cutest success story ever!

I’m not sure how much competition there is in guinea pig literature, and strictly speaking, Billy and Badger are not the main characters, but they are the furriest. Still, I think it is an underserved market. I guess we will soon know.

That is all for today’s update. It wasn’t too thrilling, I know. Hopefully, tomorrow will bring something blog worthy.

Wait... you have guinea pigs?

@Juliabarrett Nope, those are a couple of piggies who reside in Australia and enjoy nibbling on my books.

Billy could be the spokesperson for any and all marketing for said book(s). ;)

@Erin F. Billy would be an excellent spokesman. He is the long haired one on the left.

I didn't know you could follow guinea pigs in social!

@BetsyKCross They are delightful conversationalists, though, admittedly, we mostly talk about noms.
